South Arkansas Youth Services, Inc. (SAYS) Behavioral Health Care Professionals serve children, adolescents, and their families.

The Mission of SAYS, Inc. is to improve the quality of life for Arkansas children, adolescents, and their families by providing resources and services aimed at addressing behavioral, emotional, and academic needs through preventive education, casework, outreach, and mental health services in the least restrictive environment.

SAYS, Inc. is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and certified by the Arkansas Division of Behavioral Health.

SAYS, Inc. provides core behavioral health services to children ages 4-17 prescribed to treat or prevent mental disorders. Each child is treated individually according to his/her needs based on a comprehensive assessment.

SAYS, Inc. Behavioral Health Care Professionals include Board Certified Psychiatrists who provide clinical oversight of the child's treatment and perform psychiatric assessments on each child that enters services.

If the assessment reveals that medication may alleviate symptoms, the psychiatrist will discuss the side effects, the desired results, and the risks associated with medication. The parent will be given the opportunity to ask questions and have those answered to their satisfaction. It is the parent's decision.

Services will not be terminated nor will the child be discriminated against if the parent chooses not to use medication.

Mental Health Professionals are licensed therapists that will provide individual and group therapy for your child.

Children do not live in a vacuum, they live in a family. Therefore the parent's cooperation in attending and participating in family therapy is requested and considered beneficial to the child's improvement.
